Des Moines-native Lolo Jones has a lot of ground to make up if she wants a shot at a medal.

Jones and teammate Jazmine Fenlator are in 11th place after the first two heats of women’s bobsled.

Lolo’s start times though, are better than the fourth, fifth and sixth place teams. Fenlator had a rough time driving, hitting the wall a couple times.

They are two seconds behind the leaders, their USA teammates Elena Meyers and Lauryn Williams.

Lolo shared her thoughts on her Facebook page Wednesday before competition.

The third heat in the bobsled competitions begins at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday. You can watch it online LIVE at NBC’s Live EXTRA if you have a qualifying cable provider.

The completion of the bobsled competition will also air in primetime on NBC between 7:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Heat four begins at 11:25 a.m.
