The two-year anniversary of a West Des Moines realtor’s murder is approaching and police are reaching out again, hoping someone will come forward with information that will help solve the case.

Twenty-seven-year-old Ashley Okland was shot to death on April 8th, 2011 while working at a model townhome in West Des Moines.

Police say they’ve followed up on 766 leads in the case and have had over 550 contacts made related to the case. Investigators have also executed several search warrants.

Investigators are hoping someone who previously hasn’t come forward with information in the case will finally contact them.

A $150,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in Okland’s murder. If you have information in the case you’re asked to contact Polk County Crime Stoppers at 223-1400 and leave a tip anonymously.
