The 130 year-old row house on the edge of the Capitol grounds will move to its new home late Wednesday night.

The Norden Hall row house was built in 1880 and was slated for demolition in March. But the Des Moines Historical Society and the City stepped in.

A private developer is now planning to turn it into a restaurant and office space.

It will be moved to the East Village sometime around midnight.
