DES MOINES, Iowa — A convicted Hot Lotto rigger is now facing new charges.

Eddie Tipton was originally convicted in Polk County Court of rigging a computer system to win the Hot Lotto. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison for fraud and theft.

Sources now tell Channel 13 that the former security director for the Multi-State Lottery Association is accused of tampering with lottery equipment to help his brother and another long-time friend win lottery prizes in both Colorado and Wisconsin.

This all happened before the Iowa fraud case.
