“Nepal 2015” Benefit Concert Announced in Des Moines

DES MOINES, Iowa – A benefit concert for the citizens of Nepal affected by last weekend’s earthquake has been announced.

Above + Beyond Cancer and the Des Moines Social Club will be hosting the event together. The concert will be held at the Des Moines Social Club on May 5 at 5 p.m, according to Brad Anderson, Executive Director of Above + Beyond Cancer.

Three Iowa bands will be performing, which includes Foxholes, MAIDS, and Chris Fairbank. Each of them has agreed to waive their concert fee so that all of the ticket proceeds will go to AmeriCares. The nonprofit is an emergency response and global health organization with a team in Nepal that is carrying out medial aid and relief supplies for the earthquake survivors

General admission tickets for the event are $20.15, and VIP Tickets are $201.50. Tickets can be purchased at www.AboveAndBeyondCancer.org.
