The family of an eastern Iowa girl who was abducted and killed says it is planning her burial service.

Elizabeth Collins’ mother Heather says the service will be held May 4th at 11 a.m. at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. It will be open to the public.

Elizabeth and her cousin Lyric Cook were last seen alive July 13th near Meyers Lake in Evansdale.

Hunters found the girls’ bodies in Bremer County in December.

Separate public memorial services were held for Elizabeth and Lyric later that month.

The investigation to find Lyric and Elizabeth’s killer continues.
