MURDER VICTIM: Services Begin For Tama Woman

Visitation services are being held Tuesday for a woman killed in a Tama home last week.

According to results from an autopsy, 32-year-old Kerry O’Clair Jefferson died from sharp force trauma to the neck.

Visitation is from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Tama. Her funeral is being held at the same location at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say O’Clair Jefferson was killed by her mother-in-law, 57-year-old Ginger Jefferson. She is charged with first degree murder in the case.
