Des Moines authorities have to figure out if a driver will face charges after a vehicle crashed into a motorcycle.

The crash happened around 3:30 Sunday afternoon near the corner of Southeast 14th street and Thornton Drive in Des Moines.

Police say a car was eastbound on Thornton when it pulled out onto Southeast 14th and directly into the path of a motorcycle headed southbound.

The motorcycle driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital

Police took the driver of the car into custody for questioning.  They haven’t said if that driver will get charged or said how serious the injuries were to the victims.
