Nearly two years after closing the doors of their Webster City plant, Electrolux announced they will be moving what is left of the plant to North Carolina.
Currently about 80 employees still work there, but the company did not give a time-table for the move.
In the spring of 2011, Electrolux laid off 700 Webster City employees when they decided to move operations to Mexico, sending Hamilton County’s unemployment rate sky high.
