The Iowa Board of Pharmacy is meeting Tuesday to hear arguments in a case involving the owner of Bauder’s Pharmacy, Mark Graziano.
Bauder’s and Graziano are accused of losing track of nearly 741,000 hydrocodone pills in the past four years. The discrepancy was discovered during an audit released last May.
A decision on disciplinary action is not expected for several weeks.
The store remains open, but Bauder’s is not allowed to fill prescriptions for hydrocodone or similar narcotics.
