All Iowa fifth graders will be honored Thursday for their help locating missing children.

Students statewide took part in a poster contest for National Missing Children’s Day.  The goal was to highlight the importance of reuniting missing children with their parents.

This year’s winning poster was created by Megan T. from Prairie City.

Thursday, the Department of Public Safety will honor Megan and all Iowa fifth graders for their efforts.
