POLK COUNTY, Iowa — There was a water rescue Monday night at Dale Maffitt Reservoir.

There was a massive emergency response with multiple law enforcement agencies dispatched to the lake in southwest Polk County.

Witnesses say a girl in her early teens was fishing from the shore and accidentally fell in. Once she was pulled out of the water the victim was given CPR and rushed to Mercy Hospital.

Officials have not released any information about the victim.
