Two Des Moines men have been sentenced for their role in the firebombing of the Deer Ridge Apartment complex last January.

A federal judge sentenced 31-year-old Dentaro Lee to 60 months in prison for conspiracy to commit malicious damage or destruction by use of explosive materials.  Thirty-six-year-old Robert Bell was sentenced to 51 months for malicious use of explosive materials.

Police say Lee and Bell helped provide materials and make the Molotov cocktails and provided transportation to the apartment complex where Jeremy Dennis and Gregory Harris threw three of the bombs at the leasing office.

The fires damaged the building and two vehicles.

Dennis was previously sentenced to 22 months in prison.
