Memorial Services Begin Tonight for Yore Jieng

DES MOINES, Iowa  —  14 year old Yore Jieng will be laid to rest this weekend as police still look for his killer.

Jieng was shot in the head while riding in a car near 12th and Keo Way on Monday, October 24th.  He died from his injuries on Saturday, October 29th.

Des Moines Police have not identified a suspect in the case.  They are looking for the driver of an SUV caught on camera driving erratically seconds after Jieng was shot.

A visitation for Jieng will be held this evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Capitol Hill Lutheran Church in Des Moines.  His funeral will be held at the church tomorrow morning starting at 10:00 a.m.
