MARSHALL COUNTY, Iowa – Chad Bryant, who has been at large since April 2, did an exclusive interview with the Marshalltown Times-Republican to share his side of the story.

Back on April 2, Channel 13 was in LeGrand trying to speak with Bryant about his arrest in a false imprisonment and drug case. He then allegedly threatened another news crew with a weapon.

Bryant took off from the scene before police arrived. He has been on the run ever since.

In the meantime, police have found stolen guns and other property, as well as drug paraphernalia at storage facilities rented by Bryant.

The findings will likely lead to new charges against him once he’s caught.

Jeff Hutton, Managing Editor of the Marshalltown Times-Republican, joined the Channel 13 newscast at 4 p.m. via telephone to share his thoughts on Bryant and the interview.
