IOWA — Local elections were held across the country on Tuesday, and the results for Iowa are now coming in.

- Connie Boesen beat incumbent Skip Moore for the Des Moines City Council at-large seat with 54.38% of the vote.
- Josh Mandelbaum won the Des Moines City Council Ward 3 seat with 56.26%.
- Dave Burgess won the mayoral race in Windsor Heights, replacing Diana Willits.
- Mike Jones, Michael Loffredo, and Joseph Jones were elected to the three open City Council seats in Windsor Heights.
- John Haila was elected Mayor of Ames with 58.32% of the vote.
