DES MOINES, Iowa — A local brewery has teamed up with high schoolers at Roosevelt High School for a new invention.
No, the high schoolers haven’t been working on an alcoholic beverage. On Thursday, AP biology and chemistry students will unveil their formula for root beer.
With the help of Confluence Brewing, students created a logo, label, a marketing plan and a pricing plan. The recipe for the root beer is more than two years in the making.
“Rider Root Beer” will be launched to the public Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
