Wednesday’s baseball game between the Baltimore Orioles and Chicago White Sox at Camden Yards marks the first time a MLB game has been played in an empty stadium, but it’s not the first professional game without a crowd.

On June 14, 2008, the Iowa Cubs and Nashville Sounds played a game in an empty Principal Park.

In that case, fans were kept away from the game in Des Moines due to the rising floodwaters outside. The water from both the Raccoon River and Des Moines River surrounded the park, making it unsafe for fans to attend.

The video above is from the game in 2008, and Shawn Terrell reports on what it was like to be at the empty ballpark.
