Police are confirming bodies found in a western Iowa park are those of a missing Nebraska woman and her son.
A passerby discovered the bodies Sunday in a wooded area near Lake Manawa State Park.
Autopsy results identify the bodies as 41-year-old Charlotte Schilling and her son, Owen of Plattsmouth, Nebraska. The pair went missing from their home on May 10th.
Police found Schilling’s car at the state park with her wallet and cell phone inside.
There’s no word yet about how the two died.
