The crash happened around 10 p.m. Saturday night on Highway 3 just west of Shell Rock in Butler County.

The state patrol says 49-year-old Sharon White was heading westbound when for some reason, she crossed the center line and struck an oncoming vehicle.

White died at the scene.

Officials say three teens in the other vehicle were hurt in the head-on collision but didn’t elaborate on their condition.
