HAWKEYE COLLAPSE: Iowa blows 15-point lead in 70-66 loss to Northwestern

Northwestern did it again. The Hawkeyes blew a 15-point first half lead en route to a 70-66 loss to the Wildcats on Senior Day in Iowa City. Iowa fell behind by double-digits in the second half before cutting the lead to 2 in the final seconds. With a chance to win it, Josh Oglesby’s three-point attempt hit the front of the iron as Northwestern grabbed the rebound with 2 seconds left. The Wildcats hit a pair of free throws to seal the victory.

Iowa will be the 8-seed in the Big Ten Tournament, next week. The Hawkeyes will almost certainly play Illinois at 10:30pm CT, Thursday.
