The Des Moines City Council will review the city’s food truck regulations Monday evening.

The council wants to know what can be done to make it easier for the trucks to operate downtown.

The group in charge of redeveloping Walnut Street would like the trucks to be part of their plan.

Two years ago, the council put several restrictions in place including requiring some vendors to be licensed and restricting the hours of operation.

We’ll have an update on what the council has to say tonight at ten.
