FLU NUMBERS: On Increase

The Iowa Department of Public Health is warning Iowans to get their flu shots. 

Flu cases in our state continue to spread with more than 110 new confirmed cases of the influenza virus. 

The number of patients hospitalized more than doubled last week from the week before to 48. 

Cases of RSV also jumped with 27 reported cases of the virus compared to two, the week before. 

Health officials say it’s not too late to get your flu shot.
