This Saturday, the classroom turns into the catwalk on the Iowa State Campus in Ames.

The Fashion Show 2012 will take place this weekend, April 14th. From street wear to special occasion, all the designs coming down the runway are created by ISU students. In fact the entire show is put on by Cyclones, from directors to stage lighting to public relations.

Last year, the show sold out, as 2,500 people packed Stephens Auditorium.

Four ISU alumni are coming back as judges, and the guest designer this year is already getting some buzz.

He's gone on to work for J-Crew as well as started the Tailgate Clothing Company.

“We are really excited about our guest designer this year. His name is Todd Synder, he's an ISU alum and he just created his own menswear line. This is his second year and he's been really successful with it. We're excited to see his looks walk our runway.” said Kenzie Besch, junior in apparel merchandising at Iowa State.

The Fashion Show will take place at Stephen’s Auditorium on the Iowa State campus in Ames. Doors open at 6 p.m. Saturday and the show will start at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $22 for adults and $16 for students.
