DES MOINES, Iowa – Firefigters in Des Moines spent Monday afternoon extinguishing a house fire on the city’s southeast side.
Emergency crews responded to the home, located in the 3700 block of Southeast 10th Street, at about 2:40 p.m. Monday.
Damage was limited to a deck, garage, car and part of the exterior of the home. Firefighters said the fire did reach the home’s interior.
No one was home at the time of the fire, three dogs were rescued from the home.
