DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Police Department is investigating after finding a body along the Des Moines River.
The body was found Sunday morning on the south bank of the river, east of East 14th Street. Police say that there are no obvious signs of criminal activity at the scene.
The medical examiner is assisting police with the case.
