Des Moines Police Investigating East Side Shooting

DES MOINES, Iowa — One person was shot in a home on the city’s east side Friday night.

It happened around 6:00 p.m. at 3828 East 29th Street. Two people entered the home and got into an argument with a man who lives there. During the argument the man was shot.

The two suspects fled the scene and a woman in the home drove the injured man to the hospital.

Des Moines police say he was shot in the arm and the bullet traveled into his torso. His condition is unknown.

Police believe this was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
