Des Moines Man Charged After Robbing Pizza Delivery Driver

DES MOINES, Iowa – A man has been charged after robbing a pizza delivery man on Sept. 28.

Police say old 34-year old Anzie Bester approached the Pizza Hut delivery driver as he delivered a pizza to a home in the 3200 the Block of 5th Street. Bester held the driver at gun point and took $60 as well as two pizzas, according to police.

Bester is charged with first-degree robbery, third-degree burglary and fifth-degree theft.

One day later, a Northern Lights delivery driver was also robbed. That incident happened in the 1000 block of 17th Street.

However, police do not believe the cases were connected.
