DES MOINES, Iowa — A five-year-old girl is recovering from a dog attack in Des Moines.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Tuesday along East 17th Street. The dog was apparently running through the neighborhood and bit the little girl on the cheek and shoulder.
Animal Control officers seized the dog.
