COLD LURKING: Mild Weather Won’t Last

Overnight a few clouds will push into the state and winds will become light and out of the north. Lows will be right around the 30-degree mark in Des Moines.

Sunday will be a little bit cooler, with highs in the low 40s. Late Sunday night, light snow will be possible, especially over northern Iowa. No snow accumulation in Central Iowa is expected. Minor accumulations along the MN border and in NE Iowa are possible.

Temperatures will remain in the 40s through Tuesday, with colder weather and a chance for rain and snow arriving on Wednesday.
