A Waterloo man is charged with child endangerment for allegedly scalding a child.

Twenty-six-year-old Justin Robinson was arrested Tuesday following an investigation into burns to a nine-month-old child. Police say the burns happened May 23rd, when Robinson placed the baby in hot water.

Robinson was caring for the child at his home when the injuries to the back and buttocks of the child occurred. The baby is receiving treatment at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.
