With Greek Easter this past Sunday, a period of high demand for sheep is in the rearview mirror.

At the weekly sheep auction in Colfax Saturday, 390 head of sheep sold, with feeder lambs averaging $2.35 per pound. Fed lambs took in $1.55 per pound.

Prices on the 132 head of goats ranged from $160 to $180.50 per head.
