CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Two people were killed and another ten were injured in a shooting a Cedar Rapids night club early Sunday morning, police say.

It happened at 1:27 a.m. at Taboo Nightclub and Lounge in downtown Cedar Rapids. According to a news release, officers were on patrol in the area at the time and responded to the scene immediately where they found multiple gunshot victims. Two people, a man and a woman, died from their injuries. Their names haven’t been released. Ten more were injured.

Police have not made any arrests in the case but say their investigation is proceeding. Police say the man who was killed was the apparent target of the shooting and that multiple people were firing guns.
