Guest of the Day: A Retired Chef Spends a Year Studying in France

Greg Ziegenfuss and Melissa Vance left for Europe in the summer of 2019. He retired as an executive chef in St. Louis at the end of 2018. In the fall of 2019, Greg started school at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. It has been an unusual year after spending months in lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Greg and Melissa are Megan’s aunt and uncle. They started having family zooms every Sunday after Easter. He shares their experiences this year with Hello Iowa! viewers.
